Wildlife Market Survey Report
Though the live wild animal trade in southern China is very active, there have been few long-term studies of the main markets. The team, therefore, conducted a wildlife market survey in Guangzhou and Shenzhen from 2000 to 2003.
This study revealed the species being traded, the relative trade volume in the markets, and the implications for conserving the animals left in the wild.
