Camera Trap Workshop

With an area of 148 hectares sitting on the northern slopes of Tai Mo Shan Country Park, KFBG has been managed as a private nature conservation area all along and is a paradise for wildlife. In past years, our camera traps have captured many wild mammals, including Rhesus Macaque, Small-toothed Ferret Badger, Masked Palm Civet, Small Indian Civet, Javan Mongoose, Leopard Cat, Wild Boar, Northern Red Muntjac, and East Asian Porcupine. Through the workshop, participants will get to know local medium to large sized terrestrial mammals, learn how to use camera traps to conduct ecological surveys and explore the secret life of these cryptic nocturnal animals.
