The Adventure:

Our Facility Management Executive Trainee Program (FMET) is designed to nurture and develop future FM leaders to serve KFBG and the industry. You will have a personalized learning & development track, be leading challenging projects that requires exceptional and strategic spirit and be able to make an impact with the opportunity for rapid career growth.

Successful candidates will undergo this 30-months fast track career development programme consisting of training, job attachment and senior management mentorship to build your professional knowledge on all facets of facility management. You will get hands-on experience of the inner workings of a truly diverse, and visionary organisation to connect with nature in harmony.

The Experience:

In this 30-month Journey, you will get to know the essence of the Facility Management field and how it contributes to the success of an organisation like the KFBG. You will be going through a comprehensive and insightful journey which includes but not limited to:

  • Orientation & familiarization
  • On-the-job training
  • Functional rotation
  • Job shadowing
  • Coaching & mentoring
  • Other learning and development activities

The Job Rotations:

  • Impactful rotations in different FM functions:
      • Administration
      • Security
      • Building and Civil
      • Building Services Engineering
      • Cleaning and Catering
      • Smart Technology
      • Project Management
  • Specific projects assigned for each rotation with performance objectives

The Candidate:

We invite graduates from various FM related fields, such as Surveying, Engineering, Hospitality and similar sections but there are a couple of core ingredients which we’d like to see in our future Facilities Management Executive Trainees:

  • University fresh graduate in any FM related disciplines with less than 1 years of full-time working experiences
  • Passionate and curious about the work and mission of the KFBG
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English and Chinese (including Cantonese and Putonghua)
  • Passionate and with resilience to develop in the Facility Management Industry
  • Driven with entrepreneurial spirit, a creative problem solver with high level of agility and open-mindedness
  • Analytical and sensitive to numbers
  • Equally motivated by working independently as well as collaborating in a team
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Analytical, innovative, proactive, self-motivated, passionate, energetic, creative, open minded with high level of agility
  • Capability to build effective connections at interpersonal, social and cross- disciplinary levels to collaborate with others and achieve common goals
  • Curious with strong motivation to ask questions, acquire new knowledge and experience cross-boundaries; navigate and learn in known and unknown challenges
  • Creative and with the ability to bring divergent ideas together, develop novel and adaptive thinking and contribute to innovative solutions
  • Exhibit integrity, empathetic and inclusive behaviours, acting with shared purpose, speaking up taking accountability and setting high standards
  • With remarkable endurance and courage to face new challenges
  • Good team spirit and potential leadership capability
