The City Nature Challenge (CNC) 2019 results are in! Nearly 160 cities across five continents partook in this four-day citizen science event - together creating a valuable snapshot in time of urban biodiversity.

To celebrate Earth Day, on 23 April, 198 of Kadoorie Farm and Botanic Garden’s staff got together to plant 1,200 native seedlings in our forest restoration site on the upper slopes of Tai Mo Shan.

Facilitated by UK artist-printmaker Merlyn Chesterman, 25 university art students and art practioners have spent a wonderful time together in the woodland of KFBG and The Green Hub during the ‘Follow the Lines: Whispers from the Woods’ 3-Day Nature and Art Residential Workshop from 26 to 28 October 2018.

Tree planting activity is held annually at KFBG on Earth Day.  It was held on 20th April this year. All KFBG staff gathered together and celebrated Earth Day through planting native trees on the hillside of Tai Mo Shan.

25 participants joined our 3-day retreat- ‘Nature is the Healer’ by Jhon Kwano, an Elder and Messenger from the Dani tribe in the highlands of Papua, one of the most bio-culturally diverse places on Earth, from 24 to 26 November, 2018.
