Kadoorie Farm and Botanic Garden (KFBG) is a conservation and education centre.

Please be environmentally conscious and help us to preserve the harmony of nature for people and wildlife.

Visitors Notes

  • KFBG is open from 09:30 - 17:00. Please note that entry is not permitted after 16:00.

  • A visiting group of over 20 people needs advance booking. Please refer to the Group Visit Programme Information Sheet and click here for the online booking of a Self-guided Visit.

  • KFBG offers a daily shuttle bus service for visitors to visit the upper hillside, please refer to this link for the information of shuttle bus fee and shuttle bus schedule. To keep the peace we limit the number of bus journeys per day, so please come early to have a good chance of obtaining a ticket when you check-in at Reception.Visitors are encouraged to explore some of the 8 kilometres of walking trails, many of which are quite magical.

  • Limited parking spaces are available from Monday to Sunday except KFBG Closing Days. Prior booking on parking space is available within the next 30 days ; please click here to make the online reservation. First come first served.

  •  The Sun Garden cafe (run by the New Life Psychiatric Rehabilitation Association) serves vegetarian food, snacks and drinks. If you have a large group we encourage you to make an advance booking for your food. For details, please check out the Cafe Menu and Food Ordering Form

  • Please be aware of the KFBG Bylaw under the KFBG Ordinance (Cap 1156). In particular visitors must maintain peace and quiet, and behave in an orderly manner; young people must be supervised; no plants or parts of plants, or animals may be removed from the site, or brought into the site. Entry is only permitted through the Reception and Vehicle Entrance. A person must not engage in any activity, including photography, that is for financial gain unless special, written authorization has been given by the Executive Director.
