Animal Supervisor (Wildlife Rescue and Rehabilitation Section)

Fauna Conservation Department


  • To assist in the daily management of staff, facilities and rehabilitation cases as part of the Wildlife Rescue and Rehabilitation Section.
  • To ensure the smooth running of all operations in compliance with the relevant standard procedures and husbandry guidelines. 
  • To participate in and contribute to other conservation and education projects as required.
  • To deal with public enquiries on cases under care.



  • Commitment to the mission, vision and values of KFBGC.
  • Possession a qualification in biological science or related subjects will be an advantage.
  • At least 1-year relevant experience, with hands-on experience in animal care/ husbandry preferred.   
  • Previous supervision experience will be an advantage.
  • Preferably bilingual in both written and spoken Cantonese and English, Mandarin will be an advantage.
  • Computer Literacy (Microsoft, Excel etc.).
  • Must be prepared to work closely with wild animals in outdoor environment and in adverse weather.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Confident in public speaking, self-motivated and able to work with limited supervision.
  • Willing to undertake rostered work on weekends and holidays.
  • Possession of a valid driving licence Class II preferred.
  • Open minded and recognizes the validity of all spiritual paths.
