Green Hub

Main Duties: Be a member of the Green Hub team to implement a wide range of public programme to promote community resilience for sustainable living and heritage conservation.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver heritage interpretative service and related activities to arouse visitors’ support heritage conservation and sustainable living.
  • Coordinate an active volunteer scheme to empower individuals to enhance the Green Hub’s capacity to promote community resilience.
  • Coordinate docent training and the daily heritage tour at the Green Hub.
  • Handle administrative duties for a wide range of public programmes.
  • Support the Green Hub team to implement thematic projects and community workshops.

Requirements

- Commitment to the mission, vision and values of KFBGC.
- Have a deep appreciation of heritage conservation, sustainable living and good knowledge of sustainable living practices.
- A degree in a relevant educational field.
- Experience in guiding tour and volunteer coordination would be an advantage.
- Working experience on programme coordination is preferred.
- Excellent command of English and Cantonese. Mandarin is preferred.
- Good interpersonal skills and able to interact with a wide range of people in a positive, inspirational way.
- Good organizing and communication skills. Computer literacy is essential.
- Mature, self-motivated, dynamic, a good team player and be able to work under pressure.
- Physically fit for outdoor activities.
- Open minded and recognize the validity of all spiritual paths.
- 5-day work per week. Working on Saturdays, Sundays and Holidays is essential.
