Activity Report: 25th Kadoorie Brothers Memorial Race

Posted Date: Tuesday 14 January 2020

The 25th Kadoorie Brothers Memorial Race was held on 15th December 2019, to commemorate the Kadoorie brothers, Lord Lawrence and Sir Horace. This time we received over 150 applications and 105 participants attended on that day.

The race started outside the Farm Shop

The route is 5.7 km long, rises steeply uphill weaving through the beautiful gardens and forest of KFBG. It also dips down before rising again, eventually finishing at the Kadoorie Brothers Memorial Pavilion at 602 m.

KFBG staff participated in the Race (The prizes were kindly awarded by Board Member Deborah McAulay.)

This year we had 5 KFBG staff joined the race, and 8 runners at 12-year-old or below. The youngest one was only 7 years old. For the top athletes, they were running all the way to the top.

We thank everyone that made a charitable contribution towards our conservation, education and sustainable living programmes.
