(Senior) Project Officer

Kadoorie Conservation China  Department


  • To be responsible for the design, management and delivery of conservation outreach and publicity programmes in mainland China, Cambodia and elsewhere, in support of the KFBG mission.   


  • Commitment to the mission and values of KFBGC.

  • Master degree on ecology, biology, public relations, journalism, or another communication-related fields will be an advantage but is not essential.

  • At least five years of prior experience in relevant work.  

  • Proficient in written and/or spoken Putonghua, English, Cantonese, and computer literacy. 

  • Experience on event management and/or education work related to biodiversity conservation project would be an advantage.

  • Familiar with producing and managing social media work would be an advantage.

  • Knowledge on photography, graphic design and video-visual editing software would be an advantage. 

  • Strong people skills.

  • High level of initiative and ability to work under limited supervision and under pressure.

  • Multi-tasking ability is essential.

  • Passion and keen interest in conservation and community work.

  • Physically fit for outdoor work and willing to visit rural communities. 

  • Frequent travel to China is required. 

  • Open minded and recognizes the validity of all spiritual paths.

  • Candidates with less qualification would be considered for the Project Officer position.
