Solemn Statement: Alert on Fraudulent Recruitment Information Impersonating KFBG

Kadoorie Farm and Botanic Garden (KFBG) hereby issues a solemn statement regarding recent fraudulent recruitment activities. It has come to our attention that false and unauthorized recruitment advertisements impersonating KFBG are circulating across various public and online platforms. These misleading posts claim that KFBG is hiring "European Tour Guides" with highly unrealistic offers, such as a "monthly salary of HK$100,000" and "tour guide training," attempting to mislead and defraud job seekers.

KFBG categorically clarifies the following facts:

KFBG is not a travel agency and has never organized, operated, or managed any outbound or European tour groups.

All our guided tours, conservation, and educational activities are strictly conducted within our estate located at Lam Kam Road, Tai Po, New Territories, Hong Kong, led by our trained staff members or registered volunteers.

KFBG has never offered any "European Tour Guide" vacancies, nor has it ever offered such high-paying tour guide contracts.

All official career opportunities at KFBG are published exclusively on our official website (https://www.kfbg.org/en/job-vacancies) or through our official communication channels. KFBG never charges job seekers any fees at any stage of the recruitment and selection process.

We strongly advise members of the public and job seekers to remain highly vigilant and not to fall victim to these fraudulent job advertisements. Please do not provide any sensitive personal information (such as passport copies, ID numbers, or bank account details), pay any fees, or travel abroad based on these fake offers.

If you suspect you have been scammed, please report it immediately to the Hong Kong Police Force's Anti-Deception Coordination Centre (ADCC) via the "Anti-Scam Helpline 18222," or seek assistance at a local police station.
