Reptiles are severely impacted in the wild by habitat loss and collection for the food and pet trade. In this display visitors are able to see several reptiles that were seized by the Hong Kong SAR government from the illegal pet trade. Signage also introduces the rare Golden Coin Turtle and tiny endemic Romer’s Tree Frog.
