Parrots are popular as pets but are long-lived and require a great deal of care. Many parrots end up abandoned by their owners. In the past KFBG has received abandoned and stray parrots and these are now cared for at the Parrot Sanctuary. 

Please do not buy parrots as pets, or release parrots into the wild.
