Nature / Objectives
Hong Kong’s climate is suitable for growing tea. This activity connects the upstream and downstream processes of tea production.
In the past, Tai Mo Shan was one of the main tea production areas in Hong Kong. The tea gardens have long been abandoned. However, today there are approximately more than 1,000 tea trees being cultivated in the terraced fields at an altitude of about 400m at KFBG.
As the summer heat fades, why not take advantage of the cooler autumn weather and visit this revived organic tea garden and learn about the production of tea? Leave behind the hustle and bustle of the city and calmly taste the aroma of local tea. You are welcome to participate in the Hong Kong Tea Workshop.
This event is jointly organised by Regenerative Agriculture Department of KFBG and Hong Kong Tea Production Institute, conducted in Cantonese.
