National Ecology Day 2025::Kadoorie Farm and Botanic Garden

Kadoorie Farm and Botanic Garden (KFBG) is situated on the northern slopes of Tai Mo Shan, Hong Kong's highest mountain, near the town of Tai Po. Originally established to provide agricultural support to local farmers, KFBG has since evolved into a science-based organisation dedicated to species conservation and ecosystem restoration. Today, KFBG is a precious conserved area of 148 ha where the public can experience and connect with nature. KFBG has a key aim to promote the harmonious coexistence of the public and the environment through nature conservation, holistic education and sustainable living projects. In celebration of National Ecology Day, in addition to providing free entry on 15 August we are offering several complimentary activities for public participation and to experience the beauty and vitality of natural ecology, while raising awareness of environmental protection and sustainable development.
