In Learning the Language of the Land, Donna Kerridge from Aotearoa (New Zealand) invites audiences into an Indigenous perspective on healing, memory and human wellbeing. Drawing from Rongoā Māori knowledge traditions, her talk explores how health emerges from relationship – with land, ecosystems, ancestry and community – rather than from the body alone. Through story, metaphor and ecological insight, Donna reflects on what modern societies may be forgetting about belonging, balance and the living intelligence of nature. This session offers a thoughtful and deeply grounded exploration of how remembering our connection to the natural world may be central to both personal and collective healing.
