Job Summary

• All aspects of wildlife husbandry & care, including hygiene, nutrition and behavioural management. The APE section consists of a variety of mammals, birds, reptiles, and insects. Staff are required to be familiar with the operations and supervise work in all areas. 
• Contribute to educational programs for visitors, including public talks, tours of facilities etc.
• Staff are responsible for the visitor experience at the animal exhibits and public education.

Job requirements  

• Commitment to the mission, vision and values of KFBG.
• Minimum 2 years of wildlife care and handling experience.
• Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience.
• Physically fit, able to work outdoors.
• Bilingual; Cantonese and English, both spoken and written.
• Good communication skills, able to work well independently and in a team environment.
• Computer literacy.
• Comfortable with public speaking.
• Willing to work in a roster system, including weekends and holidays.
• Class 1 & 2 driver’s license would be an advantage.
