IT Technician (Contract)
Facilities Department

Major responsibilities

IT Technician manage and secure our company’s IT infrastructure and cybersecurity environment.

This role plays a key part in ensuring system stability, strong security protection and reliable business operations across network, servers, Microsoft 365 and multi-site connectivity.

The incumbent will report to IT Manager.

  1. Infrastructure & Network
    • Manage firewall, switches, routers, WiFi, VLAN and VPN.
    • Administer servers (AD, DNS, DHCP, VM, Printer, DMZ).
    • Maintain network segmentation and system availability.
    • Perform daily monitoring and troubleshooting.
  1. Cybersecurity
    • Manage Microsoft Defender, MFA, MDM, EDR & XDR.
    • Support VAPT implementation and vulnerability remediation.
    • Maintain email security gateway.
    • Strengthen protection against ransomware and email compromise.
    • Apply Zero Trust security principles.
  1. Microsoft 365 Administration
    • Administer Microsoft 365, Exchange Online.
    • Manage Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD).
    • Implement Conditional Access and identity security policies.
  1. Backup & DRP
    • Manage backup systems and restoration testing.
    • Maintain Disaster Recovery Plan.

  Job Requirements

  • Commitment to the mission, vision and values of KFBGC.
  • Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related discipline.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in IT infrastructure & cybersecurity.
  • Strong hands-on administration experience on firewall, VPN, NAT, servers of DHCP/Web service/Printer/AD/DNS/VM.
  • Experience in Microsoft 365 security, Entra ID, MDM, MFA, E5, Conditional Access, Powershell.
  • Knowledge of EDR/XDR solutions, Email Security Gateway, VAPT implementation.
  • Experience in switches, routers, WiFi, VLAN and VPN and network segmentation.
  • Understanding of Zero Trust security principles.
  • Responsible, security-minded, analytical, detail-oriented, proactive, able to work independently.
  • Good documentation discipline, strong problem-solving skills, trustworthy and professional.
