Countryside Eco-festival 2026: Natural Antioxidant Hand Wash Scrub Soap Workshop

Turn coffee grounds and tea leaves into animal-shaped hand wash scrub soaps.

After enjoying a cup of coffee or brewed tea, the remaining grounds and leaves actually contain a wealth of natural antioxidant ingredients. In this workshop, you are invited to unlock your creativity and turn everyday waste into a nourishing treat for your hands! The tea leaves used in this workshop are harvested from a thousand tea trees planted at KFBG’s terraced fields at an altitude of 400 metres. Blended with recycled coffee grounds, this experience infuses the terroir of our mountain forests into your daily skincare routine. Each participant will take home 3 exquisite animal-shaped hand wash scrub soaps (approx. 30–50 g each, with a total weight of around 150 g).

Five finished soaps on a wooden plank in front of trees and sky: a dark brown pine cone, a translucent golden bee, two speckled owls, and a yellow-and-white bee

What You Will Make

During the session, you can select pure natural essential oils to create your own signature scent. You will also use natural plant-based colorants and molds shaped like local wildlife recorded at the farm (such as owls and birds) to craft hand soaps that are both practical and beautifully designed. After the workshop, you are also welcome to visit the Farm Shop to purchase KFBG locally produced tea.
