Countryside Eco-festival 2026: Orchid Planting Workshop

Don’t throw the orchid out when it fades — learn to make it bloom again next year.

During the Lunar New Year, many people buy flowers, including orchids, to decorate their home. With their vibrant, colourful flowers and relatively long flowering period, lasting for one to two months, orchids are a popular choice. However, when the flowers wither, many people do not know how to care for them, and the orchids end up in the trash.

Three views of the workshop: a yellow moth orchid potted by a window, participants repotting pink orchids around a table of pots and moss, and a close-up of a participant trimming an orchid’s bare roots with scissors
HK$260per personSame price for adults and children. Entrance fee is not included.
