Why this series exists

Upcycled timber, reclaimed from KFBG

Co-created by Kadoorie Farm and Botanic Garden and local woodcraft studio Che Artisan Workshop, this series of wooden whistles uses timber reclaimed at KFBG, including native Hairy Chestnut, alongside wood given a new, gentle life from old furniture and timber structures. Through the thoughtful hands of skilled artisans, each piece is transformed into a portable companion that sings a quiet movement of life.

Two designs

Two states of mind, two voices

Minimalist Mountain Call Clean, elegant lines carved from reclaimed Basralocus wood, warm and understated.
Natural branch Woodsong Carved directly from Hairy Chestnut branches, preserving the natural bark, knots and rustic essence of nature.

Whether worn around the neck, hung from a backpack or resting quietly on your desk, each whistle is a gentle reminder carrying time and stories within.
