Little Fish Series | Parent-Child Puppet Theatre
Remarks: The promotional imagery is based on illustrations originally created by Lucy Hinton for the Little Fish storybook, with graphic design by the KFBG team for programme promotion.

From imagination to creation, parents and children step together into a flowing adventure woven through the world of drama

Guided by professional actors, families transform into characters of the forest and journey into the storybook Little Fish, written by KFBG’s Chairman, Andrew McAulay. Through improvisational theatre, role‑play, puppet‑making and cooperative games, both parents and children become co‑creators of the story – not just its audience.

During the workshop, each family will handcraft their own Little Fish puppet, using it as an extension of their dramatic expression. As children animate their puppets, they learn to observe, imitate and create; parents, too, rediscover the joy of play, building natural, heartfelt communication and shared rhythm through co‑performance.

As the story gradually unfolds, families immerse themselves in ‘Little Fish’s world’, engaging in character exploration, improvised dialogue, movement games singing, and interactive missions. Together, they experience courage, cooperation, empathy, and the power of nature.

This is more than a drama workshop – it is a journey of love, imagination and deep connection.
