Once upon a time, agricultural techniques were passed down primarily within the family, with parents transmitting farming techniques and knowledge to the next generation.
As times evolved, the transfer of farming knowledge required a new system to match the changing environment. With the transition into the "half-farmer, half-X" generation, individuals in society who aspire to pursue farming as a career may not always find suitable professional courses to hone their agricultural skills.
This October, we are launching the Professional Farming Management Course 2026, continuing our sanctuary's dedication and commitment to sustainable agriculture. Grounded in the core philosophies of permaculture and regenerative farming, and tailored to the current context of local agriculture, this course offers a professional and relevant curriculum for sustainable farming.
Lead Instructor: Yip Tsz Lam (Manager, Regenerative Agriculture Department, KFBG)
In addition, several senior agricultural practitioners will be invited to teach various specialised topics
