The Kadoorie Farm and Botanic Garden is collaborating with The Centre for Urban Innovations at CUHK’s Hong Kong Institute of Asia-Pacific Studies and The Hong Kong Institute of Architects (HKIA) to host a series of events about urban agriculture in April 2026.
We aim to connect like-minded organisations and promote cross-sector collaboration to advance the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the new urban agenda, focusing on urban agriculture and green development. Guided by the principle of nature-based solutions, the seminar seeks to foster the growth of local urban agriculture.
Through the seminar and field visits to urban farms, we hope to achieve the following objectives:
- Promote awareness and understanding of urban agriculture.
- Bring together professionals from different fields to exchange views on urban agriculture.
- Connect various stakeholders in urban agriculture and lay the foundation for future collaboration.
The series of events is funded by the HKEX Charity Partnership Program.
