Position: Part-Time Yoga Teacher
Contract Duration: 1 Year
Programme Period: Sunday, 09:30 - 16:00

Working Hours:  4 hours  (either am / pm session)
Session Duration: 45 minutes to 1 hour per session, 2 sessions in total
Location: Kadoorie Farm and Botanic Garden (KFBG), Hong Kong

Pay: HK$700 - HK$800 per 4 hours (depending on experience)

About KFBG
KFBG is dedicated to supporting Hong Kong’s migrant domestic workers through the “Connection to Nature for Migrant Domestic Workers in Hong Kong” project. This initiative acknowledges the invaluable contributions of domestic workers to the city and aims to enhance their well-being by providing opportunities to enjoy nature and engage in enriching activities.

Role Overview
As a Part-Time Yoga Teacher, you will lead yoga sessions tailored for beginners in a supportive and welcoming environment. Your sessions will be a key part of our programme, helping participants relax and connect with nature, while fostering a sense of community among the attendees.

Major Responsibilities

• Lead engaging and accessible yoga sessions for beginners, focusing on relaxation and mindfulness.
• Create a positive and inclusive atmosphere that encourages participants to explore their physical and mental well-being.
• Coordinate with KFBG staff to ensure a seamless experience for participants, including but not limited to timing, logistics, greeting participants and venue set-up.
• Provide guidance and modifications to accommodate various skill levels and physical abilities.
• Foster community among participants, encouraging interaction and friendship-building.

Job Requirements

• Certified yoga instructor with experience teaching beginners is preferred (RYT200 or equivalent)
• Proficient in English; ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
• Passion for nature and well-being, with a strong understanding of the needs of migrant domestic workers.
• Previous experience working with diverse groups is a plus.
