保育與研究 - 研究員
劍煥於中山大學生態學系取得學士學位，並在就讀期間開展兩棲及爬行類的研究工作。其研究領域涵蓋中緬生物多樣性熱點地區的兩棲類、爬行類及哺乳類動物的分類、生態及保育。他擁有逾十年中國及柬埔寨生物多樣性考察經驗，現爲世界自然保護聯盟物種生存委員會轄下的蛇類專家組成員及瀕危物種紅色名錄的評審人，並自2022年起擔任中國瀕危物種科學委員會協審專家，以及漁農自然護理署轄下的保護稀有動植物諮詢委員會成員。他至今已發表70餘篇學術文章，當中描述超過30種兩棲類及爬行類科學新種，同時為《PeerJ》、《Zootaxa》、《Zookeys》、《Asian Herpetological Research》、《Zoological Research》、《Journal of Natural History》等學術期刊擔任審稿人。
