KFBG 2016 Annual Dinner & Spring Reception

KFBG Diary

KFBG staff and Board members had a wonderful night on the 11 March 2016 at the KFBG Annual Dinner & Spring Reception held in Hong Lok Yuen, Tai Po. To show our gratitude to those who have dedicated their working lives to KFBG for more than 20 years, Chairman Andrew McAulay presented ‘Long Service Awards’ to four staff: Lai Siu Hong (Technician 1) from the Facilities Department, Lai Fat Kwai (Worker 1) from the Flora Conservation Department, Pun Tai Yung (Senior Keeper 3) & Cheung Man Mui (Senior Keeper 2). We watched a short slideshow of these four staff members as a way to look back on their two decades of loyal service.

To mark KFBG’s 60th anniversary, historical photos of KAAA and KFBG were displayed over the course of the evening as well as a number of panels showing key milestones in the two organizations over the 60 years.

Our Chairman thanked all the staff for their efforts and contributions over the past year and announced a series of exciting events that will be held to celebrate the 60th anniversary, including the KAAA Heritage Hunt.

It was a joyful and memorable evening. We would like to take this opportunity to wish everyone a happy and prosperous Year of the Monkey!
