Many schools are developing campus farms to help students learn about nature and sustainable living through hands-on growing. However, schools often face challenges such as limited farming experience, crop planning difficulties, insufficient soil management knowledge and the manpower needed for maintenance. In response, Kadoorie Farm and Botanic Garden (KFBG) and Farm the City (FTC) jointly launched this programme to support schools in building sustainable campus farms and developing long-term school-based capacity, rather than relying on external support.
