Welcome to Kadoorie Farm and Botanic Garden (KFBG) special 70th anniversary celebrations. We invite you to take on a peaceful journey with the trees and experience the beauty of the natural world at KFBG with Dr Claire Elouard, who guides you towards a deeper intuitive connection with trees; a bond that you can take with you and practise with all trees that you encounter in the future.
Trees hold a wealth of wisdom to share – about connecting with the earth and being grounded, about strength, patience, generosity and compassion, about happiness, contentment, serenity, perseverance and resilience.
During this journey, you will encounter inspiring trees that have shaped the history of KFBG over time. You will be guided to observe and perceive the unique qualities they embody. By honouring their wisdom, you can further develop your intuition and strengthen your bond with nature and its healing powers.
KFBG 70th Anniversary – Awakening of Memory
The Honouring the Trees at KFBG workshop is part of the celebrations marking the special occasion of KFBG’s 70th anniversary. It integrates a wider series of activities curated to deepen our connection with the Earth.
Guided by the theme ‘awakening of memory’, these gatherings call us to remember our place within the greater community of beings. This anniversary is an invitation – to return, to remember, and to share the stories that bind us to this living landscape of KFBG’s mountain and the Earth itself. It is about how we live in the present and the future we shape together – deepening the dialogue between people and nature, and carrying this shared legacy forward in an ever-changing world.
