NEEEP is a funded initiative supporting local primary schools in developing experiential pedagogical materials aligned with the newly introduced science curriculum starting in the 2025/26 academic year. This programme will last for three years. As an Experiential Learning Programme Coordinator, you will report to the Senior Project Officer and collaborate closely with KFBG’s education team and NEEEP Partner Schools. Your role will focus on co-creating nature-based, eco-literate teaching materials that integrate themes such as soil and farming, flora and fauna, habitat restoration, food and resource cycles, nature arts, wellbeing, and indigenous wisdom.

  • Work closely with NEEEP Partner School teachers to understand their classroom needs, challenges, and teaching context.
  • Co-develop experiential learning activities that enhance student engagement and deepen understanding of eco-literate themes.
  • Work with KFBG colleagues and teams to curate and develop locally-relevant case studies to be integrated into pedagogical materials.
  • Conduct briefing and debriefing sessions with participating teachers to support the implementation of NEEEP.
  • Gather feedback from teachers and stakeholders to revise and refine teaching materials for wider sharing on the NEEEP website.
  • Maintain accurate records of all developed materials, lesson plans, activities, and best practices.
  • Support the delivery and observation of selected experiential learning sessions in the field or classroom, as needed.
  • Work with other teammates in the Holistic Education Department, including but not limited to full-time, part-time staff, and volunteers to prepare materials and implement NEEEP activities smoothly.
  • Assist in synthesizing and condensing stakeholder feedback into progress updates and internal reports.
  • Support efforts to promote NEEEP to schools in preparation for the next academic year.
