Estelle brings solid expertise in cultural conservation and community engagement, supported by an interdisciplinary academic foundation. After earning an MPhil in Sociology, she expanded her focus to nature conservation by joining KCC in 2023, where she applies social science perspectives to understanding human–nature interactions and supporting more inclusive and participatory approaches. She is currently co-leading outreach and engagement initiatives across Hong Kong and Mainland China, working closely with diverse stakeholders to support environmental conservation and sustainable community development. Her work focuses on fostering stakeholder participation, facilitating cross-sector collaboration, and contributing to a deeper understanding of the social dynamics underpinning sustainability challenges. She also supports biodiversity surveys in the Greater Bay Area.
