As an arborist in the Forest Management Section, my team take part in forest management work. Our work includes liberation thinning, structural pruning, and recycling of wood debris. Wood debris from tree work are made into woodchip, mulch and biochar to improve soil quality. Through enhancing soil quality and biodiversity, I believe the return of native forest is within reach.
