I manage the Conservation Genetics Laboratory. My work includes translating lab data into useful information for nature conservation. My team runs various projects looking at genetic diversity of native plants, as well as trade data to tackle the illegal wildlife trade. My recent projects are on illegal trades of shark fins, pangolin scales, incense trees, and the use of dendrobium in Traditional Chinese Medicines (TCM).
